I am a versatile professional with a background in textile design and fashion design, which enriches my ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively engage with diverse groups of people. Currently pursuing a master's degree in Interaction Design at Cal State University, East Bay, I specialize in human-computer interaction, usability testing, and user-centered design principles. My academic background combined with my practical experience allows me to excel in UX research, where I apply theory to practice through projects that include user research, creating user profiles, and conducting usability tests.
Outside of academia, I also serve as the Project Head of Ujjawal-The Bright Future, an NGO dedicated to child education and health care in Delhi, India. Through this role, I organize and lead numerous awareness and distribution drives, educating children, specifically girls and women about menstrual health care and hygiene. My work extends to conducting informative sessions on education, food, and safety to create an overall impact and boost growth in the communities we serve.
My passion for design extends to promoting Indian handicrafts with a modern touch, often integrating traditional craft elements into my design projects. My projects often revolve around creating textures, patterns, and prints inspired by India's rich cultural heritage.
I am also a storyteller at heart, capturing moments and stories through my lens. My photography showcased on my Instagram and Facebook page, The Storyteller Photography, reflects my belief that everyone has a story worth telling.
Driven by a desire to explore and learn, I love travelling to immerse myself in different cultures, architecture, and scenic beauty. Through my work and experiences, I strive to create meaningful connections and promote positive change.
